About
Hi, I'm Maria.
And I used to be terrible at this.
For a long time, I was always on the go, juggling work, travel, and life without paying much attention to how I was actually feeling. Eating was something I squeezed in between everything else, and rest felt like a luxury I couldn't afford.

Maria Sanchez
Within4Women Founder
For years, I was the person who bragged about surviving on coffee and adrenaline. With a background in engineering, energy efficiency and sustainability, I climbed corporate ladders, lived in five different countries, and genuinely believed that being "too busy" was a badge of honour. Self-care meant grabbing a sad airport sandwich and calling it a day.
My body kept knocking. I kept hitting snooze.
Then came the phone call, a cancer diagnosis that brought my entire fast-forward life to a hard, screeching stop. And in that stillness, something shifted. I couldn't out-earn it, out-travel it, or out-hustle it. I had to actually be in my body, in my life, in the present moment. For maybe the first time ever.
The detour that became the path
Recovery gave me something I'd never allowed myself before: time. Time to sit with my son and actually taste my breakfast. Time to notice that my stomach hurt after certain meals and my anxiety spiked after others. Time to connect dots I'd been sprinting past for years.
I went deep, studying nutrition, mental health, mindfulness and counselling. I went from spreadsheets and engineering models to mood charts and habit trackers. Honestly? It's all just systems thinking. Your body is a system. Your wellbeing is a system. And when you learn to read the data, you can change the outcome.
I finally figured out that ignoring my body was the most expensive mistake I'd ever made.
That's how Within4Women was born. I saw that the wellness advice women get is fragmented, eat better, exercise more, sleep more, work on relationships, and nobody ties it together. So I built one simple framework around four pillars: Nourish, Connect, Rest and Move. No extremes, no guilt, just small sustainable choices that add up.
What makes Within4Women different is the rare mix of holistic wellness and an evidence-based approach, I bring my science background to everything we do, but I never lose sight of the whole woman behind the data. And I don't do it alone. I partner with a range of therapists and experts across the four pillars to bring you the best strategies, tips and conversations, so what you get is grounded, well-rounded and genuinely helpful.
I'm here to help you skip the hard-learned lessons and go straight to the good part: feeling better from within.

What I Believe
My approach in a nutshell
Small counts
You don't need a life overhaul. One mindful meal, one deep breath, one glass of water, that's how change actually sticks.
Your body is talking
Fatigue, brain fog, mood swings, these aren't just annoyances. They're messages. Within4Women helps you learn the language.
Rest is productive
Recovery is where the change lands. We treat rest as essential, not optional, it's a pillar, not a reward.
Move with kindness
Movement should feel good, not punishing. We meet you where you are and build from there, one step at a time.
I'm really glad you're here
Whether you're here because your energy's been low, your mind's been racing, or you just want to feel a little more human, you're in the right place. No judgement, no perfection required. Just honest, small steps toward feeling better.
If any of this resonates, the hustle, the wake-up call, the desire to feel better without making it another stressful project, I'd love you to join us. ❤️
